My first laptop, my first PC, was an NEC. That was back when no computer was compatible with any other computer...especially NEC PCs.
I learned word processing on Ichitaro and spread sheets on Lotus 1-2-3.
NEC has come a long way. Now they have a pc that you can take scuba diving or work on in the rain or the shower.
