With WinXp'e existence, i installed linux SUSE 10. as for now, Winxp occupies 2 primary partitions, and SUSE occupies one primary and one extended partition. The installation was smooth. However, in windows, when I try to open Partition Magic to view the partition table, it reports an error immediately, at first time, i skip this warning, and then Partition magic reports "partition drive letter can not be identified."; at second occurence, I let partition magic repair the error, then I get same error message "partition drive letter can not be identified." Also, windows sometimes notices me to reboot since it has intalled *new* hardware device(must meant the harddrive).
On Linux, everything looks normal, the partition table shows all partitions. Seemingly, linux is running properly.
This seems to be a serious problem. Do i need to fix it? Can anyone offer some possible solutions?
Thanks a lot.
