Help! I installed Acronis True Image Home 2009, but I heard noise ( about 2 secs. from HD?) near the end of installation.

Now when I started my computer, I also heard the short noise near the end of the window application launch. If I uninstalled the program, the noise is gone. To start the Acronis true image software, it also made the short noise at the launch beginning.

Will the noise hurt my computer hardare?
