I want to set up a media center in living room. Don't know if HTPC is a good choice.
1. watch TV with or without HTPC on, like old fashion VCR
2. can record TV program onto Hard drive or DVD if need
3. Can connect to home network for playing light game or watch movies from old hard drive
4. occasionally use HDTV as monitor for picture, web browse or light office works.
Thinking to set up a HTPC, and connect TV through TV tuner, connet home network through powerline kit.
Do you think this is good setting up. Thanks a lot
