家里装了三台windows８，还成，没有那么不堪。但最近的一次我傻了，也许是ms傻？
很简单，thinkpad with dock connects to dual display, DVI and VGA. Guess what happens if I open Desktop App? You don't know which screen will be your desktop.
Previously the left screen (selectable) is your main display, and desktop extended to the 2nd monitor. Under windows 8, the main screen can be left, or right, can be extended or single. I tried many methods to enter/exit desktop into Metro, but can't find a consistant way to control the desktop behavior anymore.
Most of the time, the two display appear to show different sessions of desktop with different background and two sets of icons. If you press WindowKey, one of the desktop will return to Metro with another one still desktop. However the exited desktop may or may not be the one I was in (opening browser for example).
um, maybe windows 8 was designed for touch screen but forgot there are still places having dual displays.
