My laptop Toshiba A10 used to be connected to campus network through normal LAN cable. However, it failed to do such connection after my one-month holiday. To my surprise, it works again by crossover cable without any changing on setting. Could you please tell me whether there is any hardware problem due to the flight shrinking or other software reasons? Thanks a lot.
there are USB and modem plug in on my laptop. During my vocation, I use a remote harddriver, which might be the possibility.
I have contact pcworld. They told me there is no problem with my network card, since I could connect another pc through crossover cable. However, a doctor of my school test my laptop and told me there is some problem with my network card.
