PC hang if run MediaPlayer9. mntdew2005-01-17 10:06:46

Hi, All,
Each time when I ran MS media player (MP) 9, my PC always hang (did not crash, but did not respond to the keyboard or mouse, have to power off to reset). I have reinstalled the MP 9 several time, but it did not help.

My PC:
Dell Demision, Pentium III 800 Mhz, 512 MB RAM, 40 GB disk
Windows 2000 (SP4).

Any suggestions?
