got up at 5:00, placed order online at staples.com, for $29 200G hard drive, free 6 OUTLET SURGE PR ,DVD-R 8X 30 PACK SPINDLE $1.94. then went to frys, checked malls, no newspaper yet, so just had the printed 8 pages 0:00 Ad on hand(someone leaked it online at 0:00 from LA newspaper).. dont know why Frys always give out their best BF ad on friday newspaper, that will be always late to useless.
got there around 5:50, no line any more, thought there's no parking like last year, so parked near Malmart about 1 mile away, and found there are many parking in front of frys, shoot! had to walk with shopping cart for a mile in the rain after shooping(the Yamaha home theatre was heavy).
there almost nothing left , but last year, got there around 7:30, still many good things left and had to wait in line for 5 minutes.
asked some guys working there, all said no yamaha hometheatre left. but some shopper told me I have to ask stocking area. did, but still no luck.
have to check out with some little things, though the line was 2 hours long, still can pick up some good things others left as I expected. one stuff come over with 2 80 G Hitachi HD(FREE AFTER REBATE), asked us, who need this one? mememe! this is one of the best deal I got today,and throw away the comedata 160G ext HD, (the rebate will never come based on FW's reviews)
when the line passING the stocking area, saw one guy come out with the Yamaha home theatre, so went inside asked, they had 2 left, I got luck again! seems many people dIDNT know the whole deals since they dont have the Friday newspaper yet, so many FAR things still there, no one touch them.
then went to CC, no no no no, nothing left.
went back to frys friday afternoon, wow!! even much more crowded than in the morning!THAT IS CALLED LATE BIRD.
总的来说,觉得没什么特好的DEAL今年,而且商家都注重了ONLINE SHOP, 甚至提前了BF SALE, 不过LAPTOP的价位普遍降到了300多,看来2006年会有很多LAPTOP的好DEAL.
