I currently work in US, am going to get married later this year. My boyfriend is Canadian and also works here. Can he sponsor me to get maple card? I talked to an attorney, they said he'll have to prove that he'll return to Canada, and is hard to do since he now works here. They suggest me to go with skilled labor application. Does anybody have any comment on this? Is it really hard as the lawyer said? Please help. Thanks a lot.
