I am an H1b accountant (no CPA). My boss agreed to support me on GC application. Either the company or I has much knowledge about GC.

In the PERM process, if there are qualified Americans (well in the case
of accounting field, it is very possible), will my boss be required by
law to hire him/her and fire me?

Also it is hard to get PERM approved for an accountant?
