I just went to AILA's website and saw the testimonies several house representitives made in front of house immigration committee regarding issues of H1B and EB based green card for people like us. Only one out of four testimonies is favorable to help increase H1B quota to highly educated foregners, and reform EB based green card process, the rest of them are really against above reforms, and they had their points displayed by real data American citizens compiled. Even though as you read those testimonies you may dismiss it as a loser complaining he did not win because of other people are actually faster than him, he might have his patrons in the house, since this is his country, not ours, yet. It is obvious that US house is very hostile toward any immigrant, regardless your legal status. At one testimony this person even pointed out that H1B workers from China are threats to US security, 6 years later the Chinese H1Bs will return China and do harm to US blahblahblah... Don't be just sit back and think US citizens will not hate people like us. We are the targets of house debate as well, not just illegal immigrants! I wish we can also have organized demonstrations to show that our status also need to be positively addressed, not just waiting in the line to have quota available...

Welcome any comments!
