My friend got his NIW based 140 approved, and he is only a Ph.D. student now. If he do a postdoc in a different lab, will that influence the future 485 application? I know the area of research must be the same, but how similar should that be? e.g. Should that as broad as the same subject like biomedical research or as specific as cancer research or even as specific as breast cancer?
