My LC (EB2, professional w/ advanced degree) was recently approved with PD in Sept 2004, and the immigration attorney hired by my company is about to file I-140 soon.

How long will it take for I-140 to get approved?

If EB2's PD progresses at the current pace, the PD of Sept '04 is likely to become current by this summer. Under this circumstance, while my I-140 is still being processed, can I-485 be filed?

180 days after I-485 is filed, can I quit my job and go to b school for MBA?
