I was granted OPT for a year after I graduated with Master degree. However, during that year I was not able to get any job. Instead, I took the time to apply for PhD program. Do you think this experience will negatively affect my H1B approval?
Plus, is there any convenient way to stay in status if I get kicked out of the school and in the meantime fail to obtain H1B approval? Because if that happens, I have to apply for the year 2004 H1B after this October. There is going to be gap between then an the end of the semester.Thanks a lot.
