Urgently, is losing H1 status Gcthisyear2006-11-09 16:41:17

Yesterday, my boss told me to leave his lab in Jan, 2007 due to the declined funding application. Now I need not only to find a job, but also get my H1 visa transfer in time. It is almost impossible now.

My 485 is pending now, Can I still legally stay US if I lose my H1 visa in next January? or I have to leave US first. I appreciate your suggestion. I just filed my EAD today.
