今天六点就在波士顿移民局门口排队，想要延期我的工卡。站到七点快冻僵了，一个移民官出来向我们宣读了如下通知，不翻译了，相信大家都看得懂。
policy change notification
Effective Feb. 13, 2004, we will no longer process I-130/I-485 applications or any application submitted in conjunction with an I-485. This includes I-765 employment applications and I-131 travel permission applications. We will accept the applications with fees attached and forward them daily to the National Business Center in Chicago, Illinois for processing. You will receive a filing receipt from that office with 21 days. All employment documents and travel documents will be mailed directly to you from the National Business Center. Residency interviews will still be conducted locally once the case is transferred back to Boston. Any employment or parole applications for cases currently pending here in Boston must also be sent by us to Chicago.
移民官说你的申请文件还是必须经由波士顿转到芝加哥，不能直接寄。我的工卡四月底到期，虽然还有两个月，可是能否在那之前拿到新卡很难说。我前面的一个外国男人好像在普华会计师事务所工作，他的工卡三月初就到期，他连文件都没交就决定去找他的律师商量了。
现在移民局所有成文的规定真的不知道什么时候就变了。想给大家通告一下这个消息，估计很多人还不知道。
真的，今天我真想骂人。我现在还记得移民局里的保安看到我们冻得发抖的样子脸上那种隐含的笑意。
