I have two Green card applications in middle of processing now. the details are following:
case 1:
EB3, priority date is 12/30/2003, regular processing. the status of this case is that LC is still pending in Dallas Backlog center. Now our company allow us to expedite this earlier case by converting to RIR.
case 2:
EB2, priority date is 12/27/2006. I already got LC approved by PERM processing.
our company will not allow the filing of two I-140s, I will need to decide which case I want to pursue. if I convert my earlier case to RIR, I don't know when the LC could be approved. but I could keep earlier PD. if I pursue the late case, the 485 processing time is 22/Apr/2005, means I still need to wait 1 or 2 years to get GC. could you guys give me some suggestion which way I should pursue, converting earlier case to RIR and using it to apply GC or continue applying using
case 2? if I pursue case 2, can I use my earlier PD? after 1-140 approved, if I change the job, can I still keep my PD and new company just need to apply 485 for me only when visa become current?
