Can there be a couple of days gap in my employment? piquant2007-04-17 21:07:23

I am going to transfer to another position. I am wondering if there can be a couple of days gap in my employment. For example, I plan to leave my current position on Wednesday and start my new position on the following Monday. I am currently using my H1B (good till next year), but I am going to use EAD (which has been approved) after transfer.
