刚收到EB1a的RFE．
满足了以下两条:
Evidence of the alien's original scientific, scholarly, artistic, athletic, or business-related contributions of major significance to the field;
Evidence of the alien's authorship of scholarly articles in professional or major trade publications or other major media;
关于media coverage, 我有篇paper发在top20的journal,有一本领域权威写了篇"News and Views" article 高度评价我的paper. 我觉得这一条应该没问题. 但RFE 写到:
Published material about the alien in professional or major trade publications or other major media;relating to the alien's work in the field for which classificaton is sought. Such evidence must include the title, date, and author of the material, and any necessary translation:
The record shows articles that reference the petitioner's work. The Service notes that the record shows an article in XXX (Journal) which makes reference to the petitoner's work and while his work is praised, it is not the subject of the article itself.
这篇文章就是介绍我的文章的，移民官却说＂it is not the subject of the article itself.＂．不知道是不是我的cover letter 没写清楚，还是media coverage 应该主要是关于人而不是工作？
顺便说说，我的Sigma Xi membership 也不被认可．However this organization has 65,000 members, it is not sufficient that membership to it is sufficient evidence that the petitioner has "a level of expertise indicating that the individual is one of that small percentage who have risen to the very top of the field of endeavor."
请问有什么建议吗？不太想找人写推荐信，太费时间和太麻烦了．
