Xiaobaitu and other nice people: OPT and I-485 blueleafeABC2007-06-26 00:37:35

Please help!!

My wife currently hold F-1 and will graduate in this Fall, and she will
apply OPT on August. But I plan to file I-140 and I-485 con-currently
(NIW) recently. I know I-485 will let her OPT denied. So my question
is:

1. If I file I-485 first without my wife, can my wife file I-485
latter after she get OPT approval( around November)?


2. If she file I-140 and I-485 with me without OPT application, for
your experience, how long she can get EAD in current situation?

What is your suggestion?

We are really in hot water and your answer is very important for us,
