The received date of my I-140 (EB-2, NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER) was September 21, 2006. The current processing time at Nebraska is 10/1/06. CIS's webpage says "if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed, please contact the USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375 – 5283". I asked my attorney to call CIS. However, he said that there is no meaning of the processing time. The call doesn't help at all. Is that true? Should he call?
