H1 transfer, pjiang, xiaobaitu,pls help! 46802007-10-12 17:27:13

The new company transferred my H1B with premium processing and they put starting date as 11/1/07. But the human resource said by 11/1/07, they can't finish other paper works and I may have to wait for another 2 weeks to start my work. My question is if the H1B approved before 11/1 and I can't start to work, is that any problem? If there is no problem, can I stay at home without doing anything (I don't think I can work for current employer since the new H1 is effective) .(my 485 is pending).
