EB2, filed in July 2007, PD early 2007. Case got moved to local office a few months ago, did interview last week. Here is the experiences:
1. Prepared all the ORIGINAL required documents (most of them are those for 485 application e.g. Birth Certficate, Passports etc
2. Late for the interview for 10 minutes, scared, but turned out to be fine. There were many people, the officer processed the case in first in first out order
3. Lawyer was with US, very useful for answer legal questions for US
4. Do remember to bring the July/Aug 2007 visa bullentins with you, the officer actually questioned why the visa is not current (as of Jan 2008) and we can be submit 485, seems like he didn't have idea of last July's fiasco. So do remember to bring these with you. Fortunately our lawyer had them.
5. Questions are all of these listed on 485 e.g. any arrest record etc. Checked my address etc.
6. And finally the officer said everything is fine but he can not approve it because the VISA for EB2 is not current.
7. I was told after the interview the file will be mailed back to national office, waiting for name check, once the VISA is currently then it will be approved.
