Paroled until 12/2007 on I-94 ??? cyqin 文学城

My wife used AP back to US in 12/06 and I noticed today that they marked "Paroled until 12/07" . I want to know what is its meaning. Does it mean that you can only stay one year after entering US with AP? Thanks for any input.
