I-140 approved and I-485 pending more than 180 days. Applied AP and EAD (expired March 2009), but never used them. H1B valid thru 09/30/2010. Considering job change. Questions:
1). Do I have to transfer H1B to the new company? Can I just use EAD? Do I need to notify USCIS of the job change? Any risks?
2). Since the old EAD expired in March 2009, shall I apply for a new EAD or just extend the old EAD? Concerns: a). The old EAD extension might be valid from March 2009 thru March 2011. I will lose several month benefit; b). the old EAD extension might trigger the questions like " Why this card was not renewed earlier?", and "Is there any situation of out of status?", etc.
