Urgent! PERM yimin20082009-06-26 03:32:14

I applied my PERM in Dec. last year and have not heard anything back yet. My H-1b will be expired in Oct.(6 yr) this year. Any hope it will be approved in Aug. or Sep? If not, can I change my VISA to F2 or B1 and wait for approval? Then switch back to H-1b.
