8 and 皮老师，why my 485 got approved without FP ? blue5star2012-03-12 23:29:16

Hi 8 and 皮老师,

I got mail below today, 485 has been approved and mailed to me. But I did not take FP yet recently. Is this normal? I am a H1b visa holder, did take FP two years ago when I renew my H1b in Vancouver airport, did USCIS use that FP for my 485?

On March 12, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. 


For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State.  For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current
