In the previous message, I asked you:"How long can I stay in US if I am fired?"

I vaguely recalled it was 30 days.

Next question is: my program was recently added to "STEM" list. I have used 12-month OPT. If I cannot find a job within specified time period, can I apply for another 17-month OPT or extenstion of OPT? With the OPT extension, how long may I stay in US without a job?
