我儿子收到一封信来自 selective service system mo墨mo2016-07-21 14:48:10

前天收到一封信是关于Official Registeration Acknowledgement （selective service system for army). 我儿子是F-1学生签证，国际学生办公室说 “he is not required to register". 我们并没有自己注册，不知谁给他注册的，所有个人信息显示的都对。在信上显示“last action date" 刚好是他生日刚满18岁一个月。 

如果我们告知 selective service system 他们搞错了并退回这封信，将来会影响我儿子“入籍" 或"申请绿卡"吗？
