tion to USA from Canada?
My family is living in LA, and waiting for the approval of Canada immigration. It is going to take three more months for the waiting of PP request. However, our stay in the USA will expire in Jan. 2005. We want to do asylum in order to extend our stay here to wait for the visa.
Question: After we become Canadian citizen, we want to come back to the US as H1a, H1b, NIW or any other status for US green card. Can we immigrate to USA or work in USA through these ways if we do asylum now? Anxious to know all the possible bad effects. Thank you!
