Is H1/F1 effective after 485 who'sonthesamebo2005-01-21 20:10:18

To whom may know the answer truely:

Dear friends, I got more and more confused after looking at what others talking about the original H1or F1 status after filing 140 or 485. Could anybody make these clear since most of the attoneys are also 250. This may even worth a big discuss for guys who visit here. It may help a lot of you, me, him or her...
1. Will one lose his original H1 or F1 once he files 140 and/or 485 without EAD and AP? What will happen to his spouse?
2. Will one lose H1 or F1 after filing EAD and AP together?
3.Can one apply for another H1 or F1 during 140 and/or 485 pending?
