"Every August 2nd in Russia is Paratrooper Day and thousands of servicemen descend on Gorky Park in Moscow to celebrate in uniform. Paratroopers celebrate with quite a few drinks and most Muscovites know to avoid the park but one TV reporter, Nikita Razvozhaev, was sent down to report on the festivities."
Police said that the attacker was identified as "a Russian nationalist" who had never served in the paratroopers.
