that he is a good grandson of his grandfather - the first leader of DPRK - who had taught him that he must keep a close relationship with China leader when a diverse situation appears. His father, past Jim Jong II, had also taught him to the same as his grandfather did. In fact, Jim Jong II secretly visited China when he felt his time was ticking, and requested China leader to protect his son from any attack from outside of his country (note: at that time _2010, China President was Hu Jingtao).
We have to admit that Kim Jong Un is a smart guy - figuring accurately out the world situation and the setting surrounding his country. He is going to meet with President Moon of South Korea next month, and then with the US President Mr. Donald Trump. Although we never know what will happen regarding these planned meetings, we do know that Jim obtained a big gain when he met with China President Xi Jinping. The details of talk between Jim and Xi are yet exposed, but all signs suggest that Jim had got what he wanted.
However, Mr. Trump is unpredictable and may cancel the May meeting with Jim anyway. If so, a more complicated situation will be predicted that the case of Korea Peninsula would come back again in a circle pending for being solved by next US President - given Mr. Trump loses the 2020 US election. Mr. Jim, nevertheless, is still the North Korea leader by that time. Is that a joke?
Russia welcomes the visit by Jim to China, and does South Korea. The States's attitude is positive to the visit, although Japan is marginized by this activity despite the fact Japan was the first of noticing the Kim's visit.
