(联合早报讯)新西兰驻澳大利亚最高专员安妮特·金接受《悉尼先驱晨报》和《世纪报》访问时说,新西兰对于加入澳洲与英国和美国建立的三边安全伙伴关系(AUKUS)持开放态度。
安妮特·金(Dame Annette King)表明,新西兰永远不会参与核动力潜艇的开发,但新西兰欢迎美国和英国增加在印太地区的参与。
安妮特·金说,澳美英三方安全关系绝不会改变新西兰和这三个国家的安全情报关系,并指新西兰希望与这三个国家合作开发包括人工智能量子计算在内的新兴网络技术。
澳洲、英国、美国9月15日联合宣布成立三边安全伙伴关系时,新西兰总理阿德恩确认,澳洲在该协议下打造的核动力潜艇将不被允许进入新西兰的领海。
