DP在她的时代可算是很有影响力的一个女作家, 讽刺,世故,幽默,急智是她的标签. 先后曾经在VANITY FAIR 和 NEW YORKER 中都有专栏.

Résumé (这一首是关于自杀) Razors pain you; Rivers are damp; Acids stain you; And drugs cause cramp. Guns aren't lawful; Nooses give; Gas smell awful; You might as well live.
Unfortunate Coincidence (这一首关于爱情) By the time you swear you're his, Shivering and sighing, And he vows his passion is Infinite, undying --- Lady, make a note of this: One of you is lying.
