■ Beautiful South ■

　　1989 组建于英国赫尔，来自 housemartins 乐队的 paul heaton 和 dave hemingway 是 beautiful south 的核心人物（均为主唱）。自从 1989 年的第 1 首单曲《song for whoever》登上英国排行榜第 2 位时，便显示了他们非凡的实力。乐队的鼓手也是前 housemartins 的成员 david stead，贝司手是 sean welch，heaton 的另一位写歌搭档是吉他手 dave rotheray，最值得注意的是，为乐队加入另一条声线的是女主唱 brianna corrigan。
