Riley saw what happened in recent years after LA threw away $$$$$$ to resign Kobe the IORN. It's not all about money. A fading star with old legs, injuries, declining productivity, but diva personality and appetite for $$$ is simply poison to a team with ambition to quickly get back on top. Given Wade's previous pay cuts for the team, I think Miami's offer was very reasonable. In terms of loyality, Riley is certainly not Popovich. But Wade is not Duncan either. This Miami-Wade divorce is good for both sides.
