PREVIOUSLY unseen footage of murder suspect Anxiang Du will feature on tomorrow night’s edition of Crimewatch.

Du is wanted in connection with the quadruple murder of the Ding family in Wootton on Friday 29 April.

The new footage shows Du abandoning the car at 2.27am on Saturday, 30 April in Venables Street, off Edgware Road. That was the last confirmed sighting of the 52 year old.

Police are hoping that someone watching the programme will recognise Mr Du, either having seen him around the time of the murder or since then.

Det Supt Glyn Timmins, senior investigating officer in the case, will be in Cardiff with Detective Sergeant Lee McBride who will be in the studio.

Officers in the Northamptonshire Police incident room will also be manning the phones, answering calls from the public, during the programme.

Potential sightings continue to be received and are all being followed up. To date, however, none have proved to be confirmed sightings of Du.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £10,000 for anyone providing information to Crimestoppers leading to the arrest and conviction of any person or persons linked to the murders of the Ding family.

Jifeng Ding, 46, Ge Chui 47, Xing Ding, 18 and Alice Ding, 12 were all murdered in their Wootton home.

Information can be passed to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
