We have tested the unit that we have here at the Helpdesk, we have found that the unit sound is on the soft side. We have played Avi movie files with Headphones at full volume it is a bit soft but its fully audible. This also applies to playing Random music files and DVD movies.
It seems what you are experiencing isn't a fault but how the unit was manufactured. if you are not satisfied with the unit still, you have the option of returning the unit + all accessories to the store of purchase.
