Hello there,

I am living in Vancouver Canada and planing a trip to Australia on Oct 2009 for 18 days, I do not want to join any tour and I want to arrange everything by myself, so I would really appreciate your advice on the following items...

1. What's the best way to explore Australia? By rail? Driving around myself?..

2. What's the must-visit places based on the time I have? (My flight will be in/out of Sydney)
