I just got my full bond back this morning and no cost to me. Agent responded saying they don't want any more trouble or go to court (they don't want to pay $33 to lodge the case as they have to take me to the court to recoup the “cleaning costs”).
In this case, my experience is if you know you are in the right, fight for it!
To be honest, I think if Agent (my Agent) wants to do the same thing to his/her other tenants, s/he will think twice.
