MS稍微复杂一点的安装都有log files 和configuration files，这些files应当在temp folder里，不如这样试试看：
1）找出local user的temp folder
在command line console里run SET，找出TEMP=XXXXXX，不同系统TEMP不一样，WIN 2008是C:UsersYourUserNameAppDataLocalTemp等等。
WIN 2008的TEMP FOLDER 是INVISIBLE，so highlight the YourUserName folder on left pane of the windows folder explorer and press F10 to trigger the FILE menu , then select Tools | Folder Options to fire the Folder Options dialog -> press the View tab to apply “Show hidden files, folders, and drives” option. 现在你就应该能够看到AppData及其里面的内容了。
2)delete all the files and folders under the TEMP folder
如果不行，重新启动机器，要删除temp下的所有的文件和目录。
3)安装你的VSTS，如果还是报错，应当有详细的LOG，那个ERROR DIALOG是CRAPY，没有具体的EXCEPTION的位置，另外，我觉得TEMP里的CONFIG FILES很可能CONFLICTS,如果删除所有的temp文件，再按照你google出的顺序，应当好一些。
