i have a windows xp copy and intend to re-install.

by re-installing windows xp, i hope to wipe out all the data, softwares installed and get a fresh start.

i tried. but it doesn't affect data and installed softwares.

anyone knows how i can do that?

by fresh installation if it is a full version.

but how to fresh install?

options should prompt shortly after the start. pick the "fresh".
