Here is my question, I have an older XP desktop, which still runs good, it has 80 gb harddisk space. Recently, I got a vista notebook, which has 120 gb harddisk space.
Both machines have I394 ports, and I have a cable that can physically connect these two machines through their respective I394 port.
Can I turn on both machines and use the XP harddisk as an external harddisk for the vista notebook, i.e. to back up notebook stuff on the XP harddisk.
I want to transfer data between (back and forth) these two machines through the I394 connection, and still be able to use two machines separately.
Is that possible, if so, how? if not, anyway to overcome the problems.
