Microsoft is offering downgrade rights for end user who is purchase Vista Business/Ultimate to downgrade to Windows XP Pro.
To be eligible for XP Pro downgrades end user must own a copy of Window XP Pro from their previous PC/Notebooks.
Please find details for Downgrade rights from attachment. Please note only F3F/F3Jp/F3Jr/A8F/A8Js/W7J can be loaded with XP Pro.
End users with F3Jr can exercise this downgrade with the following procedures:
1. End user can call ASUS hotline: 1300 278 788 to order recovery/driver discs to be sent to them.
2. End user must delete the Vista Hidden Partition before they can run XP recovery, this partition can be delete in the disk management in windows or FDISK under DOS environment.
3. Customer can switch between Vista business or XP Pro as approved by Microsoft.
For end user with other models, they will have to use their previous XP Pro media to install XP Pro on to their Vista business/Ultimate NBs. Then the activation procedures will be the followings.
Install XP Pro using existing media.
Attempt to activate using an existing key.
Call Microsoft activation hotline (the number displayed when activation fails) and inform them that you are exercising your downgrade rights
Have your Vista Business Media and Activation Key at hand to provide to the operator to prove license.

Please note only end user with F3Jr shall call ASUS hotline for recovery/driver discs.
