Help!/The correct English name for a laptop's LCD screen light b sdgal2007-09-10 05:44:07

Hi,

Does anybody here know the English name for the light bulb of a laptop's LCD screen ?

I have an Apple's 2004 PowerBook G4 laptop. Its works fine. But the screen became very dim. I guess I should replace the light bulb or light source for the sreen. Where can I get the light bulb? Did anyone have the experience to have the screen light bulb replaced in an Apple store? I'm sure how expensive the part and service would be there.

It's called Fluorescent ligh bulb.
