italkbb with AT&T DSL basic plan (speed: 768 kb) wxc-0072007-12-01 14:17:10

Does anyone use italkbb with AT&T DSL basic plan ($14.99/month with 768 kb speed ) ?

Somebody told me that 768 kb is too slow, I have to use at least AT&T's 19.99/month plan (1.5 Mbps) ? Is this necessary ?
