The OS is Windows XP Professional Edition. The Windows Explorer takes more than 2 seconds to response to a Mouse click or keyboard strike (e.g.: UP/DOWN key pressing).

After selected a file in the Windows Explorer, and then press the key DOWN for 5 times continuously, for example, it will take 12 seconds to move the cursor to the file, even the PC doesn't run any other program. This problem always exist even after Restarting PC.

It takes very long time to move/copy a file with Windows Explorer.
It seems that the rest application software running speed is normal.

Can anybody help me what the problem is? and how to solve it?

Thanks.
