API for data acquisition and data visualization WANTET win2suse2008-04-22 20:40:07

I'm looking for API for data acquisition thru serial communication port, say COM1, and realtime data graph. I know basics about C++, and believe it should be not that challenging. However i cannot find a simple solution so far. Help.
