The one I bought from Best Buy only works if I shut off the laptop and charge off-line. If I start the computer the charger is disconnected by the laptop, even though the charger is still on. The charger must have a chip in it to recognize the charger!!! It is quite the pain as I have to watch the battery condition shutdown and recharge.
